It was just three years ago that our beautiful daughter Eden was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, an aggressive childhood bone cancer. She was a junior in high school—a gifted artist, an athlete preparing for her senior year, and a girl excited about college. Our lives changed forever when what seemed like simple back pain was discovered to be a tumor in her Sacrum.
Eden completed treatment but tragically relapsed just three months later. Although Eden and her doctors never gave up, it became clear that there was no established protocol for her recurrence.
To honor her spirit, her family and community in Seattle have partnered with the Sam Day Foundation to launch The Eden Project—a growing effort dedicated to advancing the research and hope that children like Eden urgently deserve.
