It was just 3 years ago our beautiful daughter Eden was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a childhood bone cancer. She was a junior in high school, a gifted artist and an athlete preparing for her Senior year and looking forward to college. Our lives changed forever when a simple pain in her back was diagnosed as tumor. Eden’s treatment consisted of five different types of chemotherapy; these drugs were administered at very high doses for 2 to 5 days at time while in the hospital for 10 months. Sadly, she relapsed just 3 months after her last treatment. Although the doctors never gave up it was clear that there was set protocol for Eden's recurrence.
