2025 Lectureship
Nancy Goodman, J.D., founded Kids v Cancer to change the rules of the road and create new models to incentivize biopharmaceutical companies to develop drugs for kids.In this lecture, Nancy will review of changes to medical research funding in Washington, D.C. and identification of possible future developments for the next fiscal year. Nancy will identify alternative sources of financial support for medical research and specifically pediatric cancer translational research: pediatric study plans, written requests, CDMRP PRCRP, opportunity zones and R&D tax credits.Nancy received her JD from the University of Chicago Law School and her MPP from Harvard Kennedy School. Her son, Jacob, died of medulloblastoma, a pediatric cancer.
